How to book a
Notary Public or
Commissioner
service?

Contact us at Contact@RandallHarry.com to:

a)

organise a date and time;

b)

inform us which services you neede (if unsure, we will discuss it with you);

c)

For virtual Commissioner meetings you will be instructed to provide electronic copies of all relevant documents and items (in PDF, word document, or image format) via email to Contact@RandallHarry.com.

For in-person Notary Public or Commissioner meetings, you will be informed what to bring to your appointment.

Once we set a date, time, location, and number/types of service(s) required, we will inform you of the final cost and require a partial or full pre-payment prior to your appointment.

How do you prepare for the meeting?

Do not sign or date the document prior to the meeting, the Notary Public and Commissioner must witness the signature and date.

Bring a government-issued photo identification

Customers must bring all original documents or items, and, at least one (1) copy of it to a mobile/in-person meetings as:

we require a copy for our own records and will not photocopy;

a back-up copy is ideal if any errors are made to signatures, dates, or other errors occur during the meeting; and

for certified copies of documents, customers must bring the original document or item needing certification, without it we cannot fulfil the service of certifying a copy.

Failure to bring adequate identification, documentation or copies to the meeting will result in “No-show, Late Arrival, and Lack of Documentation Fees”, below.

No Legal Advice

At your meeting, the Notary Public and Commissioner will not present themselves as a lawyer and will not provide any legal advice. If you have any legal queries in respect of any document, oath, affidavit, or declaration being administered it is recommended you seek Independent Legal Advice (ILA).

Restrictions on executing a Will or Powers of Attorney

The execution of a Will or Power of Attorney will not be done at your meeting. Our Notary Public and Commissioner is also a lawyer who adheres to strict professional standards. Therefore, prior to execution, these documents may require a legal review before they append their credentials to them. Contact us at Info@RandallHarry.com to book an appointment.

Appointment Changes and Cancellations

We ask customers to respect our time as our Notary Public and Commissioner is also a busy lawyer and can only allocate certain hours towards these services. We will be punctual, we ask for the same courtesy.

Customers must contact us within 2 hours of their scheduled appointment time to inform us of any time changes or cancellations.

 

Failure to do so will result in “No-show, Late Arrival, and Lack of Documentation Fees”, below.

No-show, Late Arrival, and Lack of Documentation Fees

Any customer who fails to:

provide 2-hours' notice to change or cancel their scheduled appointment; or

arrives ten (10) minutes past their scheduled appointment time, will be charged:

$35.00 for virtual appointments (any excess amount pre-paid will be refunded); or

$35.00 + the relevant Travel Fee for mobile/in-person appointments (any excess amount pre-paid will be refunded).

Additionally, any customer who fails to:

bring adequate identification, relevant documentation or copies to their scheduled mobile/in-person appointment will be charged:

the relevant Travel Fee (any excess amount pre-paid will be refunded).
